User Subscriptions

Overview

In addition to free access for visitors, TrackDemocracy (https://trackdemocracy.com) offers optional paid subscription plans for users who wish to participate more actively on the platform.

These subscriptions support platform integrity, accountability, and sustainability, while keeping the platform independent of advertisements or external funding influences.

Subscriptions are voluntary and are offered on an annual basis. Currently, auto-renewal is not enabled. All renewals must be completed manually by the user.

Subscription Plans

General User Subscription
- Price: ₹1 per day / ₹365 per year
- Intended for:
  - Citizens
  - Students
  - Individuals interested in civic discussions and public issues
- Features:
  - Access to all publicly available content on the platform
  - Ability to comment on posts
  - Participation in polls and voting mechanisms
  - Sharing opinions and views on leaders’ public posts
- Validity:
  - Valid for one (1) year from the date of activation
  - Renewal must be completed manually before expiry
Leader Subscription
- Price: ₹5 per day / ₹1,825 per year
- Intended for:
  - Elected representatives
  - Public leaders
  - Individuals holding organizational or community responsibilities
- Features:
  - Creation and management of a verified public profile
  - Ability to post updates, statements, and public messages
  - Engagement with citizens through issues, polls, and feedback mechanisms
- Validity:
  - Valid for one (1) year from the date of activation
  - Renewal must be completed manually before expiry

Purpose of User Subscriptions

Verified user subscriptions are a core mechanism to uphold the credibility, transparency, and accountability of the platform.

Subscriptions help ensure that participants are genuine individuals who engage responsibly in public discourse.

By implementing verified subscriptions, TrackDemocracy:

Encourages constructive and informed participation.
Enables traceability and accountability in cases of misuse or unlawful activity.
Maintains an advertisement-free experience for users.
Preserves neutrality, remaining independent of political, corporate, or external influence.
These measures help ensure that the platform remains fair, community-driven, and focused on public interest and democratic values.

Payments

All payments are processed through authorized payment service providers.
Subscription access is activated only after successful confirmation of payment.
TrackDemocracy does not store users’ card, banking, or payment instrument details on its servers.

Changes to Subscription Plans

TrackDemocracy reserves the right to:

Modify subscription pricing or features.
Introduce new subscription plans.
Withdraw or discontinue existing plans.
Any such changes will be communicated on the website and will apply prospectively.
Existing active subscriptions will remain valid until their expiry date.
